Peterson Tool Company’s ThriftSkive® tooling system is designed for most automatic bar machines and includes the ThriftSkive® Attachment w/Head Assembly, Skive Tool and Clamp.
ThriftSkive® Attachment: the precision manufactured holder that mounts to the cross-slide position and has fine adjustment for size, taper dimensions.
Head Assembly: the precision ground component that locates the tool and has fine lateral adjustment.
Skive Tool: the precision ground tool manufactured from solid carbide, carbide tipped and high speed material.
Clamp: is the component that holds the precision ground tool location.
