ThriftPart®
Peterson’s ThriftPart ® tooling system is designed for most automatic bar machines. The ThriftPart holding systems includes ThriftPart Attachment, Holder Body, Anvils, Clamps and Inserts for the ease in changing inserts and changing from part to part.
Holder Body: is the precision ground component held in the ThriftPart Attachment and is manufactured to an explicit size and clearance.
Anvils or Support Blades: is the precision ground component that precisely locates and supports the insert along the cutting edge.
Clamps: is the component that holds the insert into the precision ground anvil location.
Insert: is the cutting tool manufactured to specific geometries, precision tolerances and coated based upon the given manufacturing process and material being machined.
