Rotary Transfer Forming
Peterson Tool Company’s ThriftChange® and ThriftEdge® Recess & Turning tooling system is designed for Rotary Transfer machines and the specified machine holders. The Recess & Turning holding systems includes Holder Body, Anvils, Clamps and Inserts for the ease in changing inserts and changing from part to part.
Mirco-Adjustable Rotary Transfer Holder w/Dovetail Clamp: is the precision ground component held in the specified machine holder and is manufactured to an explicit size and clearance.
Rotary Transfer Turning Holder: is the precision machined component held in the specified machine holder and is manufactured to an explicit size and clearance.
Anvils: is the precision ground component that precisely locates and supports the insert along the cutting edge.
Clamps: is the component that holds the insert into the precision ground anvil location.
Insert: is the cutting tool manufactured to specific geometries, precision tolerances and coated based upon the given manufacturing process and material being machined.
