ThriftEdge® is Peterson Tool Company’s inserted form tool line. We pioneered inserted form tools and continue to improve upon our original designs. Inserted form tools add advantages over conventional HSS or brazed carbide form tools.
When an edge is dull, replacing an insert requires only a couple of minutes as compared to the 15-20 minutes needed to replace conventional tools. The construction of our ThriftEdge® product consists of four separate pieces: holder body, clamp, anvil and insert. The anvil locates and fully supports the entire form of the insert.
