Form Cut Off
Peterson Tool Company’s ThriftChange® and ThriftEdge® Cut-Off tooling system is designed for most automatic bar machines and the specified machine holders. The holding systems includes Holder, Anvils, Clamps and Inserts for the ease in changing inserts and changing from part to part.
Holder: is the precision ground component held in the specified machine holder and is manufactured to an explicit size and clearance.
Anvils: is the precision ground component that precisely locates and supports the insert along the cutting edge.
Clamps: is the component that holds the insert into the precision ground anvil location.
Insert: is the cutting tool manufactured to specific geometries, precision tolerances and coated based upon the given manufacturing process and material being machined.
