Circular Form Tool
Peterson’s ThriftChange® and ThriftEdge® Circular tooling systems are designed for all Automatic Bar machines and the specified machine holders. The Circular holding system includes the Circular Body, Anvils, Clamps and Inserts for the ease in changing inserts and changing from part to part.
Circular Holder Body: is the precision ground component held in the specified machine holder and is manufactured to an explicit Circular design dimensions including O.D., Width, and the holding mechanism.
Anvils: this precision ground component attaches to the Circular Holder Body and precisely locates and supports the insert along the cutting edge.
Clamps: this component attaches to the Circular Holder Body and holds the insert into the precision ground anvil location.
Insert: is the cutting tool manufactured to specific geometries, precision tolerances and coated based upon the given manufacturing process and material being machined.
