Peterson Tool Company’s ThriftBore® Tooling system is designed specific machine holders. The holding system includes Holder Body, Anvils, Clamps and Inserts for the ease in changing inserts.
Holder Body: is the precision ground component held in the specified machine holder and is manufactured to an explicit size and clearance.
Anvils: is the precision ground component that precisely locates and supports the insert along the cutting edge.
Clamps: is the component that holds the insert into the precision ground anvil location.
Insert: is the cutting tool manufactured to specific geometries, precision tolerances and coated based upon the given manufacturing process and material being machined.
