Diane Peterson Edwards President and CEO

Diane Peterson Edwards is the President and CEO of Peterson Tool Company (PTC), a family-owned company that she first joined while in high-school, providing front office and shipping support. Ed- wards later served as Human Resources and Benefits Coordinator, utilizing her skills of building and maintaining important relationships in business in order to enhance Peterson Tool’s record of excellence in customer service. Since being appointed CEO in 2012, Edwards has spearheaded many corporate initiatives including implementation of new software along with new measurement and CNC equipment. PTC under the direction of Diane has made significant investments in the future with new equipment, process redesign and facility upgrades. Diane also focuses on enhancing the positive company culture for all employees and customers of Peterson Tool.

Peterson Tool, a legacy company, was founded over 60 years ago by Diane’s father, the late John L. Peterson. After his untimely death, the company was led, for over 30 years by Diane’s mother, Nancy Sanders Peterson, who led Peterson Tool to record growth and global leadership and prominence in the special cutting tool solutions marketplace.

Diane Peterson Edwards is a graduate of Vanderbilt University, where she received a BA in Political Science. During her professional career, she also established Gourmet Catering, a successful company that she operated for many years. Diane and her husband (Dr. William Edwards,Jr.) have three children.
